I too bought a painting from an old lady on Central Park in the eighties. On the back of the Saran wraped pastel dated 1980. It is entitled "Il Neige" and the follow label, hand typed, also on the back said, "T. Peters, American educated in France, Third generation of artists - paints flowers, people, landscapes, abstracts etc. in a dreamy elegant stlye."

I will gladly exchange photos with those who have her works

I love this painting and would have purchased it in a second. I think it leaves a lot to the imagination. It gives me as sense of tranquility.

the shed kind of looks like something that would be found in the world of super mario brothers (which i suppose would have come out pretty near to 1987 or perhaps a bit before). i wonder if t. peters ever played that game. it is a very nice painting in any case.

We loved your saving the bat story. I made a bat house for our friendly neighbour that sits on lawn chairs each evening and counts the bats returning to their house. She sits with a roommate and they keep count each evening. She was counting up to 70 last summer that lived behind her window shutters. That was why she ordered the bat house. She was worried that the bats would fall out (from behind the shutters)on the ground and cats partially eat them (cats seem to partially eat stuff they kill). I'm not sure if the bats are using the new bat house this summer because I have not spoken to her for a while. I installed the bat house on the front of her house after painting it a dark shade to capture the heat better. She has studied bat behavior and is becoming an expert in this subject. She named a few of "her" bats. One fact she told me.........bats like to live no more than 1/4 mile from a source of water. Story from Waynesboro.

Hebron was the sweetest little bat that I had ever seen. I have a new found fondness for those fuzzy little creatures, because of him. He filled out hearts this Easter, and we'll miss him.

Nice.

It's an interesting feature of modern society that it is possible to amuse oneself fully by randomly picking odd phrases, entering them into a Google (TM) search, and EXPECTING to find a variety of hits ranging from the banal, to the perverse, to the product of those practitioners of the art of insanity. I applaud your part in this production.

i came here to look for a picture of paco with carrots. i thought it would be nice to use a picture of him on some BJs organic carrots (for my own amusement, BJs totally wouldn't go for it) but i found this lovely montage of places we've never been.
your tomatoes look lovely. and i don't mean that in any funny way.

You and your friends look fabulous traveling the world!

I noticed that you will go anywhere you are invited. I hope you'll come to Azalea Park when kickball season starts (Sept 10th for 7 weeks + playoffs). Games are on Sundays between 10 and 2pm. Our team is full, unfortunately, or I'd try to recruit you and your mad kickball skills. Come cheer us on if you are looking for a fun Sunday. We haven't picked our team name yet, but it might end up being Gimme Your Lunch Money. I'm rooting for The Fighting Lotties. http://www.cvillessc.org/
